Curtain Call Empty

Curtain Call

The night is young and I am hungry
I’ve left my castle, on my journey
Above the streets, I stealthily fly
Over the heads, of passers by

Alas my princess, of the night
Your getting near, within my sight
Lusting after your beauty, after your throat
After your blood, on which I’ll gloat

I smell your scent, in the night air
As I arrive, with grace and flair
Land on your balcony, windows ajar
See you illuminated, by a shooting star

Transformed once more, in your room
I’ll be next to your bed, very soon
Shrouded in my cloak, your prince arrives
To give you the kiss of death, so he survives

I’m next to you, your beauty does shine
Imagine your blood, like ruby red wine
I ready my fangs, perfect for biting
Into your neck, so bare and inviting

My cloak now over us, I swiftly bend down
Sink my teeth in, draw blood, you utter a sound
Eternal life is yours, as into my power you fall
Tonight my darling princess, your final curtain call
